Interpol helped us get our money back
My wife and I had about $5,000,000 USD saved up in our retirement account, but this turned into nightmare when we became a victim of BEC scam. My wife received an email stating that our account was frozen and we should click on a link to recover it. Unfortunately, when my wife clicked this link, the fraudster was able to access our retirement bank account and wired out the whole funds.
We contacted the local police who investigated and escalated the fraud to Interpol unit, because it was discovered that the fraudster is in another continent. After few months, the fraudster was arrested by Interpol and helped us recover the funds.
I sell and ship automobiles to foreign companies, which sometimes could be $2,500,000 USD worth of goods. In late 2024, out of the blues, I was contacted by a company from Asia. I never suspected that they were fraudsters, they wired $1,500,000 USD into my company's account and I shipped the automobiles that was ordered.
Sadly, my account was frozen by my financial institution, which was a result of fraudulent payment made into my account. I was told by my bank that the payment was stolen funds from another company. This made me ran into a $3M loss because the $1,500,000 was reversed and I already shipped out cars. I informed the Interpol and within a month they arrested the gang that did the business fraud. I am happy that Justice was served on my behalf.
I was contacted by a fraudster back in 2025 about an investment. He tricked me to believe I can triple my retirement savings within a month. I sent him $850,000 USD and I never heard from him again after receiving the payment. I reported to the Interpol and they were able to track his IP address, after investigation for about two(2) months, he was arrested and greater part of my money was recovered.
I was glad that Interpol came to my rescue. I would have been depressed and sick if the fraudster was not apprehended. I can gladly say Interpol did a very good job!
