The 2015-16 Esu Scotland Juniors Debating Competition Final was held in Edinburgh on Thursday 16th June. Many congratulations to George Watson's College, Clifton Hall School, Morrison's Academy and Renfrew High School who have all progressed to the National Final and congratulations to the Scottish Junior Champions Toby Appleyard (S2) & Emma Baxter (S3W) from Clifton Hall School on winning the Final of the biggest debating competition in Scotland!
The National Final of Word Wizard 2017 took place on 24th May at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre. It was organised by Scotland's National Centre for Languages (SCILT) in collaboration with the University Council for Modern Languages Scotland (UCMLS) and with the support of the European IMF Office in Scotland, too. 46 pupils from eight local authorities and independent schools competed in French, Gaelic, German, Mandarin and Spanish in front of an audience of teachers, supporters and guests.
